LMS Amesim is a powerful simulation software, produced by Siemens PLM, that supports engineers during new product design. With LMS Amesim, engineers can predict a new design's performance early on in the development cycle and assess the viability of new technologies and solutions.

With over 5'000 pre-validated, fully parametric, physical component models (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, tubes, engines, electric motors, mechanics, gears, etc..), already available to the user inside the software, LMS Amesim enables quick creation of a "model-based" sketch, reppresenting virtually any complex, multi-physical product (component or system), for any industrial application (automotive, aerospace, mechanical industry, packaging and automation, powerplants..)

How it works:

1. Sketch the System

Choose, drag and drop the physical component models available inside the software, and connect them to create your system.
With over 5'000 pre-validated, fully parametric, physical component models from any physical domain (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, tubes, engines, electric motors, mechanics, gears, etc..), already available to the user inside the software, LMS Amesim enables quick creation of a "model-based" sketch.

2. Parametrize

Parametrize the components inside your sketch, to adapt them to the actual sizing of real system/component.
Models inside LMS Amesim, vary in terms of detail and parameters that have to be provided, according to the information available and the stage of development in which the product is, the user can choose simplified/basic models or fully-geometrical detailed models.

3. Simulate and Analyze

Simulate transient working conditions, the trends of: pressure, temperature, voltage, force, aceleration, speed, flow-rate, etc.
Launch linear analyses, to detect undesired vibrational phenomena due to system integration
Check on evolution of energy balance and power consumption over different working cycles
Analyze your data and system results with advanced plotting facilities, dashboard, animation, table editor, linear analysis, activity index and replay.
