COMPONENT and SUPPLIER SELECTION, considering MANUFACTURABILITY and COSTS

BSim manages powertrain component selection: from Electric Motors and Generators, Batteries, Flywheels to High and Low voltage wiring looms...BSim has tied special parterships with several among the best component suppliers in the market, as well as hardware and software development specialists, generating a pool of trusted partners to choose among.

Selection is completed with virtual verification of the component's performance (like detailed simulation and analyses of battery ageing, cooling strategies and electric motor sizing), to ensure correct choice and optimal integration of the component within the system.

IN-VEHICLE INTEGRATION & PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

BSim validates transient behavior of the powertrain design in terms of: autonomy, consumption, performance, (therefore efficiency), and identifies the optimal control strategy to best manage the vehicle during full-electric mode, recharge mode and parallel mode. BSim simulates vehicle responsiveness, handling performance, vehicle dynamics, drivability, comfort over selected drive-cycles.
